I LOVE as you go through different stages in your life you are drawn to different types of ACTIVE journeys and adventures. Sometimes you need to step back a little and other times you have the opportunity to go full steam ahead.
Full disclosure this week in #ifoundfridays I have my mum talking about her current ACTIVE. She has definitely been a great role model for me as I have always known her to be doing something. I have seen her go from running to netball to golf to hiking to gym workouts to Pilates.
Each stage of her life different types of ACTIVE pursuits has bought her different joys and achievements and currently, that is Pilates for her.

A friend motivated me.
What do you love about your ACTIVE?
I feel stretched and relaxed afterward.
What pulled / drew you to the ACTIVE?
The chance to have a coffee and a chat after the class.
What surprises did you find along the journey?
It is a fun class with a group of people in my age group - we all have a great rapport.
What were the challenges getting started?
Driving up the hill to get there, especially in the winter.
How do you keep yourself motivated?
The coffee and chat after the class.
If you could share one piece of inspiration to those finding their ACTIVE and staying motivated, what would it be?
Keep on going and exercise as much as you can, this will keep you mobile as you age.
Who inspired you to find your ACTIVE?
How has your ACTIVE changed over the years?
My active has slowed down over the years. But it is still enjoyable and keeps me active and mobile.
