Returns + Exchanges

We love our Red Dust Active accessories and we want you to as well.

If you’ve received your accessory and something’s not quite right or you’re not as in love with it as you thought you’d be, we offer refunds, exchanges, and credit notes on all full price items bought through www.reddustactive.com that are returned to and received by us within 60 days of purchase.

As with all returns, there are some terms and conditions that apply depending on the situation, so please make sure you read and understand the below before making your purchase.

Sale or special promotion items.

We all love a good bargain or a unique purchase, but please keep in mind that unless the item is faulty, anything you buy on sale or as part of a special promotion cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason. We want you to be happy so please choose carefully.

In the (unlikely) event your item is faulty, we’ll apologise profusely and will do our absolute best to replace it. If we don’t have stock available, we’ll issue you with your choice of a store credit or refund.

Returning an item.

If you’d like to return your purchase and it’s not a sale or special promotion item, the first thing you need to do is email our super-friendly team at customercare@reddustactive.com for a return authorisation.

When you email us, make sure you give us the following 4 pieces of info to make the process as efficient as possible:

  1. Your name (or the name used for the order if it wasn’t yours)
  2. The order number
  3. Your reason for returning return the item
  4. What you would like us to do in return (i.e. exchange, credit, refund)

We’ll then get back to you with instructions on how you can return your item.

After you’ve contacted us about returning your item you have 30 days if you’re in Australia and 40 days if you’re overseas to return it to us in its original condition. 

You’ll need to include your name and order number with the returned item so we can identify and process your return, and please keep in mind we won’t accept your Red Dust Active accessory if it’s been damaged or soiled.

Your return shipping must be prepaid and tracked. Red Dust Active is not liable for the loss of an item being returned so we strongly recommend you use registered mail to make sure it stays safe.

Don’t worry though – we’ll remind you of all of this in the instructions we give you after you contact us.

Returning an item for exchange

All items returned for a change of size or colour must be returned via post at your expense.

Exchanges are subject to product availability and we’re unable to process your return until we receive the original back. That being the case, if you want to make sure you get the item you’re after (or if you’re in a hurry), we recommend buying your replacement item straight away (we’d hate you to miss out!). Once you’ve secured the size or colour you’re after, you can simply return the original item for a refund.

Refunds

Refunds are given on the value of the product only and do not include the cost of shipping or any additional charges you may have incurred.

We can only issue refunds to the credit card or PayPal account used to purchase the item. Once your returned item is received by us in its original condition, we’ll strive to process you refund within 7 business days.

Faulty or damaged items.

We’re really proud of our strong reputation for quality and know it’s awfully unlikely your Red Dust Active accessory will be faulty or damaged when you receive it. But stranger things have happened so, if this is the case, we’re really sorry! We’ll happily offer you an exchange, refund, or store credit if we deem the item you’ve purchased to be faulty or damaged. Just follow the above instructions for returning your item and we’ll help you out as best we can.

Product warranty

We offer a 1-year warranty on all items purchased directly through www.reddustactive.com.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or misuse.
